>>5729049Positive as a user that browses artists work. I like that some jp artists use pixiv to also log their twitter art in one submission. Ex. All the art done in one month is logged in one pixiv submission for multiple works in one.
I like that, ive seen some also be creative with the multiple works option and make a catalog or magazine for their art and make it sort of a free artbook while some use it to make previews for their works on pixiv premium or content they are selling at exhibits/cons.
I’d probably start uploading for the holiday season now that im getting comfy with my art since my style kind of blends in with the other jp artists.
Though i will say this im not a fan of coombait art, and thats what the highest ranking pieces are daily on the site. Also fanart tends to get more attention over original pieces. Usually any original creations that get attention have to be baiting a fetish of some sorts. though the comfy side of pixiv has a large niche so i think with some research anons can find it to be useful. If you’re english i’d recommend laying off heavy use of it in descriptions. Maybe keep the titling simple and the description down to a small sentence, that goes for your profile too. Use jp tags and if you’re confident just try to use jp as much as you can over english. Its not surprise that some popular eng twitter artists aren’t popular on pixiv and usually abandon it, and i believe that it is because they aren’t conforming to use of jp in name, title, and description. At least have a username that can be believably pronounced by the jp.
