Im about to make a tough decision. How do i find out if i have what it takes to grind for thousands of hours in years to come? How do i find if i actually enjoy the process?

Simple. This is common practice for any one even begs to understand where they belong. Dont like doing sketchy work? Then you make the effort to do detailed work. Dont like detailed work? So do the opposite. Dont like both, so find the middle ground. If you dont like either then its probably obvious drawing isnt for you, go do hands on arts and crafts you little baby.

Find a mentor instead, join a critique forum or discord, go out irl and find a figure drawing club. Basically do anything but go to art school when there are hundreds of book and lectures available on the internet.
