>>5142622"Ripping off a style" is an inane thing to complain about. A "style" is really an ignorant concept by itself - people read a comic or watch an animation because it's good, not because it looks a little different than some other animation. Furthermore, for inexperienced artists what the word "style" really refers to is the mistakes that the artist makes. You can see this easily by viewing a progression journal and the "style" will disappear, a new one will form and then disappear too, and so forth. It's drawing broken toes or flabby muscles or disjointed shoulders out of ignorance and it gives a different look to some extent but doesn't accomplish anything meaningful, you just need to draw better.
When an artist learns about how to draw good, especially in stylized art, they should look at the work of other artists, study it, copy it, and break it down to figure out how good artists make good art. This of course means learning how to draw your own stuff from other artists. It's how you grow properly instead of stagnating because you've Seen popular art from the media or online communities but don't know the process behind how they make a piece. If you don't want to "plagiarize" you're really just crippling yourself - real plagiarism is taking someone else's story and swapping out the names.
Don't really care about the furfag.
