Earlier I was doing sets of like 12 studies of random artists from pinterest. It’s too much work to source all of them and link all the twitters and originals and create a collage, but that being said this is just one drawing from one of my favorite artists.

But for a big artist i get really self concious, like i am trying to shill my work and show up on people’s timelines. Like i am fishing for a retweet or something. I dont like how it could be perceived.
I just find it annoying that some unoriginal copy gets 100 likes and my 22hr original octopus girl gets 20, but it makes sense appealing stuff makes it onto pinterest and into your feed so replicating it will reproduce similar results.
