>>5142078I appreciate the curiosity.
I haven't really seen many, but I never did watch things like Stephen Universe, gravity falls, south park, spongebob, hey arnold, family guy, etc. because they always felt too young to me.
My kid sibling and their friends had cable and movie nights almost every night though while I read and went about being an overachiever.
I didn't really feel the designs of the first two,^ mostly. But then again, because of this I never gave them a watch, so if I had, who knows.
I liked the few I picked out when away from home: some beautiful foreign language animations, dreamworks, last unicorn, harlock, a ballet animated by the last unicorn crowd, a fairy tale or two with animation that felt sort of like arthur rackham's work, an 80's and early 90's fantasy film, atlantis, and fantasia. That last was my favorite.
from my relatives houses: the best of silly symphonies, looney toons, and old school disney. That was mostly everything into middle school. I really liked all of the things I took time to watch. But I always liked reading more, so I never asked about the tv.
Oh hey, we did have a tv when I was extremely young though, so i saw magic schoolbus for a few months before it was removed.
