The showrunners for it are just the sort of people I'd have hoped for to run this kind of envelope pushing children media violence and trauma that wings of fire’s appeal was built on. Dan Milano (Robot Chicken), Justin Ridge (Star Wars: The Clone Wars,) and David S. Cheng (Megamind, Avatar, How to Train Your Dragon) are all part of this and so I have no worries that it's brutality will be meaningfully neutered.
