Unless you live in a third world shithole where people burn at stakes people with lefty hand or freckles you will have no problem with it. Yeah a kid could mock you, but it's a kind of inoffensive kids being kids.
It would be more realistic and practical to try to normalize artificial limbs, blindness or mental retards
