It's better that way if you're ocd about it.
Best series is hellboy. Then BPRD, mainly plague of frogs and then lobster johnson. Also Koschei the deathless is pure soul.

Avoid BPRD hell on earth volume 4, crimson lotus and frankenstein underground.
