Why did Marvel writers stop giving a shit about continuity in the late 90s-early 2000s?
You could have shit like Venom or Wolverine being in several books all at once and have completely different characterizations. Or a villain randomly changing his entire personality between appearances because they're being written by different writers. Or a character appearing in two books in one month and looking completely different. Why did this become so commonplace in the last decades?
