It's almost as if this is the exact reason that we have contract laws in labor and not the honor system.

Speaking of which 'Art People' tend to be the most scummy, lazy and untrustworthy people out there so it really isn't a surprise that people who want to make a living drawing silly pictures are so work shy.

This has to be the most communist stuff I've ever read: unable to count on his finger, he realizes too late that he's getting fucked over by his own finances, he then blames his failure on capitalism, burns the books he refuses to send from people who purchased them because it costs him too much money, shouts "no refunds" and tell fans to eat each other if they want their pennies back. Brilliant.

There are 10 updates in that link though. Not very encouraging updates ("We still are not fans of a lot of the animation that was created"), but still, looks more like a poorly managed mess than an outright scam.
