Filoni's been much more hands off on new animated shows since Rebels ended. He didn't really work on Resistance since he was focused on TCW S7 and Bad Batch is primarily in the hands of the writers of their debut arc since Filoni's doing live-action now.

Bad Batch wasn't bad. It's only flaw was not fleshing out the characters more, but the world-building and Crosshair's drama made up for it.
