A pretty long time. Adam West Batman was a tool of the establishment so the idea of there being actual systemic problems in Gotham City caused not by costumed crooks but by the people in positions of power would not compute.

Julie Newmar is the most well known, being the first and the one they used when they wanted to pay homage to the old series (Like in BBATB when she and West played the Wayne parents). One the other hand Eartha Kit was something else and the new catwoman fits her style more.

any police force would do that specially when the killer was targeting their own, the fact that the Riddler was right accross from most of the happenings of the movie is hilarious. When Batman was putting lenses on Catwoman he was probably right above him.

I didn't understand the first time the gimp suit was leaked. Riddler never had anything like that, so why make a leather gimp suit? He was one of the few villains that did the normal clothes thing in the first place.

The Riddler was also obsessed with showing that he was superior, including wanting everyone to know who he was. Hiding himself behind a gimp mask wouldn't fit this obsession. it was a very confusing stylistic choice
