Why is Peter suddenly surprised to see Jesus, even though they've known each other several times in the past, and they act like they never knew each other before.

Another thing is that Season 20 has alot of typical sitcom plot episodes that feel like they would be used in the earlier seasons, like "Peterschmidt Manor" or "The Lois Quagmire", It's almost like Seasons 8-17 were retconned, or continuity-wise, ignored. And the humor seems a lot tamer than the shit introduced in season 8.
