Amity had the thought of magicless people = useless and bad which it's a society idea. If Amity didn't change this thought in Covention, in Eclipse Lake she would make fun of Hunter for being magicless.
But Amity doesn't care now, in fact Amity doesn't take in count Hunter's magicless disability and it makes sense.
