>>130193322Not really, I understand the Meg abuse shit coming completely out of nowhere, and the rise in gore, but it wasn't as bad compared to when Season 8 came along and turned it into an edgy 14 year old's fantasy.
Peter wasn't abusive to Meg until Season 6, but even it was tame stuff like putting a booger on her head or farting on her, Except that one clip where he shoots her in the face, but even that clip wasn't gory.
Season 8 is when Peter became an abusive piece of shit, Lois constantly cheating on Peter with no remorse, and Brian having to point out to every Christian in existence that they're hecking stupid. Though he didn't officially get revealed to be an atheist till late into Season 7.
But I think as of lately, the show's gotten better in many ways
>The Characters become more likeable again>Quagmire more of a ladies man instead of a full blown rapist>Peter doesn't physically abuse his kids, or even Meg>Brian is caring, as seen in "Cootie and the Blowhard">since Meg isn't used as a punching bag anymore, the writers don't seem to know what to do with her>Lois is probably the only exception, she became a full blown karen>No edgy humor, maybe the occasional gore every now and then>Family doesn't hate each other, except for Lois>back to more sitcom plotlines instead of weird shit like Stewie being pregnant>A fuck lot less cutaways than beforeSadly no one is willing to give it a chance anymore, I can't blame anyone though, Steve truly ruined the show's reputation for many years, and it's gonna take awhile before people even start to notice it's improved, even to those who recognize it, they will just use the
>it's too late for improvement now>Nobody cares anymoreexcuses, I think the show's cleaned up it's act and I'm looking forward to the future of the show.
