What anon meant was that Moon Knight is supposed to stand alone without big connections to the bigger MCU.

My roommate guessed that Gorr would show up at the end of the show and kill some gods, but I really hope that doesn't happen. Keep the show self-contained, it's been the best one so far.

Self contained is refreshing (only seen one episode of Moon Knight though desu), though Gorr not being referenced might raise questions.

If it makes your roommate feel any better, a lot of shows have relatively self contained first seasons but start connecting to expanded universe stuff in the second season

IMO Introducing the Egyptian gods and killing them (or most of them) off in the same show would feel kind of lame. So far the show is good, I'd recommend continuing it. Oscar Isaac carries it with his acting.
