Look at how the scene where jjj tries to come up with a name for the villain is handled vs the scene in no way home where ned and peter meet doc ock. The first has a joke based not on what a dumb name it is, but on how egotistical jjj is. He mocks the name not based on the name itself, but because someone else came up with it, before proposing the exact same name himself. Meanwhile, ned and peter just mock the name because "lol comics amirite"
