>>130163002You're oversimplifying the story for Belos and Andrias (don't know about Simon, haven't watched his show). Belos was already a colonizing witch hunter when he came to the isles, but his brother "befriending" a witch just made him worse and eventually led to him committing fratricide and recreating his brother to help him with the unification just to kill all of his copies over and over again. In this situation, he holds a grudge against his dead brother rather than the witch he befriended. The witch isn't even a character, really, more so a tool to show that the brother rejected the old ways of witch hunting and became a better person.
For Andrias, he certainly held a grudge against Leif, considering he forced her race to become a massive stereotype, but it isn't part of his main motivation, which is to redeem himself in the eyes of his ancestors and restore Newtopia's former glory as colonizers of distant worlds.
