I think the bleep can add to a joke. Like, when a character says "HOLY FUCKING SHIT" it's just them screaming "holy fucking shit", but when it is bleeped and your mind has to take a split second to fill in the words it makes the emphasis on those words funnier. It also helps if characters are reacting to it in an over the top way. It feels weird uncensored, it feels like part of the joke when censored.

They talk about it in the 3rd season, they had a few episodes where they wanted to have the guys naked and had the studio in Korea animate it despite it being censored for airing. BUT the Koreans also ended up adding in more docks where they didn’t intend them to be, like when we saw the flash back of colonel gentleman trying to kill himself or srgt hatred crying on the toilet. The Koreans added dicks into those scenes
