I was thinking about this while reading an old Batman comic storyline from a while back. It was a really good story when taking as a whole, but I couldn't imagine reading it one issue at a time once a month for six straight months. It's ridiculous
Monthly subscriptions to a 20 page comic book just can't compete with anything anymore, especially when every comic book is part of a larger storyline (as opposed to a standalone story)
Comic stories should be released in full at this point. Perhaps, instead of 12 issues of 22 pages each, you could release three or four full books every year
But that's just my opinion on this of course, what do you think of the monthly subscription model?
