Everyone on this board is always talking about anakin's orange alien apprentice, and the one from that one game gets talked about a lot, but what about Vader's first apprentice, and the most returning character from the marvel comic, Lumiya:Dark Lady of the Sith. What are your thoughts on her?

No. But she was part of the early marvel comics, being Luke's first non-leia love intrest, as well as the first-ever example fo a female sith (and the establishment of dark lord/lady as a title which wasnt exclusive to vader),

I miss the old EU so much. It was a mess but it was a FUN mess. And almost nothing Disney has put out in the new canon has come close to its best parts.

It had its messyness but i think that it had fallen into a groove, at least right before TCW.

And yeah, the current canon has very few great things. I like the vader comics and fallen order, but outside of that its not that great.

It's an 80s comic design, kinda comes down to it. I do think its cool personally. But the more elaborate whip and cape add to it

I liked how the old EU gradually created a functional "geography" for the SW galaxy. Like how powerful factions and planets tended to cluster near the various major hyperlane trade routes the same way ancient Earth civilizations clustered around rivers. Corellia is a core world and far away from the Outer Rim but it's located on the same hyperlane as Tatooine and Ryloth, hence why those three planets often have lots of interaction and share characters despite the vast distances between them. Shit like that really breathes life into a setting, but writers hate it with a passion because it's a lot to keep track of.
