I wanted to perfect my understanding of 3D space and perspective, since both are fairly foundational to building believable things in art, and I did that buy drawing boxes freehand. Many many boxes. No rulers allowed. Perspective without rulers. Straight lines without rulers. Draw 200 boxes. After each box check what you did against actual perspective so you can know how you fucked up. Do this 200 times.
At some point I forgot what a box even was for like five minutes.
Then I remembered and could draw perfect boxes freehand and just KNEW how 3D space felt.
I highly recommend you only do this in sets of 20 a day or something modest.
>>130167233I'm still utterly stumped why Abbs would throw Cio away. I'm still sort of expecting some kind of BS behind it, but Cio really was one of the strongest points of the story. Alison, in her current form, is the weakest. Alison when she admitted she was just some stupid college slut and did things anyway was peak.
We've moved on from that in the growth cycle of things. Understandably so. Yet Alison refuses to learn the same lesson. This is a.. natural state for any human.. but we're running out of pages fast.
