>>130136699It looks like Disney is unironically going to hit another major dark age for its company the likes of which we haven't seen since the 70s/early 80s. The company has been in financial trouble since purchasing fox. Park Attendance is down after a major resurgence, Disney Plus has lost around 10 million subscriptions, and stock is down 70%. A big issue is Disney has gotten complacent with its fanbase expecting them to shill out more and more money for any of their products and services while also removing more and note quality. The parks are offering less worthwhile services and making free ones cost a premium. Their streaming service plays old content with weird AI upscaling that ruins the film quality. Disney Plus noticeably lacks certain shows and films while the original content is lack luster. Disney has ran many of their beloved franchises into the ground and people are tired of the same old franchises. And of course the politicization of the company is alienating Diseny's most lucrative clientele, parents. The only way Disney is going to get out of this is by not taking their customers for granted because what they don't realize is people will go elsewhere for theme parks, films, and entertainment.
