From the big companies' perspective, all this has ever been about is money. Everything has to be streamlined and reduced to the lowest common denominator to appeal to the broadest demographic possible and be as cheap as possible to produce. It's corporate culture.
Corporate culture will ruin EVERYTHING, because the only thing that matters to the corporatist is making more money.
They don't care about the quality of animation, they just want it to be cheap to animate. That's the big reason for the switch to digital in the first place. They don't care about shoving agendas in everything, they just need to appeal to more people to potentially make more money. They don't care about their customers, they hate their customers and think they're all stupid drones who only exist to consume product and then get excited for more product.
That's why they get so butthurt whenever anyone calls out any of their decisions. Because their decisions are just based on money, and you are potentially losing them money by complaining. They'll deflect, call you names, say it's not for you, say you're just childish for caring, etc. All just shaming tactics.
The moment somebody pulls the "why do you care it's for kids" card, you can be 100% certain they are just a shill who is butthurt that they are being called out.
