I swear to god, 80% of the people in this thread really don't know shit about art if they think that in every case, simpler = worse. A lot of the ones in this thread are super shitty, yeah, but if you actually have a discerning eye and know anything about the art of stylization, you can see marked improvements in an artist's sense of anatomy and design EVEN IF the new style is simpler.
Everyone here just has a fucking boner for art styles that lean more towards Japanese influences instead of Western influences.
