This actually is partially true though. A good political commentary DOES pay attention to both sides of EVERY ISSUE, up to and including genocide. That is not at all to say you portray both sides as equally correct, but no one would have an opinion, political or otherwise, without a reason. A nuanced exploration of genocide, as an extreme example, SHOULD explore the reasons why people committing genocide. An exploration of WHY people do bad things is just as important as explaining why those things are bad.
