Futurama took a bit to get running but it knew what it was aiming for. Unlucky Schmuck from the past winds up in the future and becomes a space delivery boy. Humor is derived from him reacting to strange things.
This show doesn't even have an idea what it wants to be about. So basically we just have a hedonistic princess bitching about everything and no reason to care. There's no consistent character. In the same episode Bean steel's a woman's coach and leaves her to drown and is cool with it and then we're supposed to think she's too soft to be a torturer?
Luci is supposed be her shoulder devil but he doesn't do shit to get her to do bad stuff and Elfo went from a jaded cynical elf who dreams of experiencing more to becoming a dumb happy elf he was disgusted by the very next episode.
