The movie had a 90m budget and 115m in advertising. It made ~160ish in box office, and is positioned by design to make a lot of backend on merchandising and streaming/home video. It was clearly profitable and scored Oscar cred, which studios willing take losses for with shit Oscar bat movies for the cred.
