The problem with a lot of these other shows, like I said, is that the writers bit off more than they can chew and couldn't go through with tying up all the lore and plotlines and threads in a succinct and satisfactory matter. Regular Show started straying away from an total episodic format and starting incorporating a storyline, but the stakes weren't that high, nor were there all that much to begin with. As far as finales go, it certainly wasn't all that special, and like I said, Regular Show faced a decline in quality due to similar reasons that other shows airing around the same time declined, like romance-related drama, but compared to shit like Gravity Falls, Korra, and all that, it's, relatively speaking, not as bad as it could be.
