Even though the Channel Chasers ending was way better and pretty much a perfect stopping point, it still had Hartman's taint of hackery seeping into it. He couldn't let a poignant scene go for longer than 10 seconds without inserting a LOLSOWACKYGOTEM joke in at the last moment, in that case the Vicky-Bot. While sure he forgot the fairies, it really makes no sense that Timmy would forget the awful things Vicky did to him. Unless they could've worked in some angle involving the Tootie/Vicky/Timmy relationship, but that's the other flaw, Hartman left the wife ambiguous because he didn't want to upset Timmy/Trixie shippers, even though that ship was godawful and really needed to be taken out back and shot at that point.
The live action movie series was just that ramped up even more. They couldn't even execute the sad scene right (Timmy's sacrifice in both this and the Wishology trilogy was exceedingly dull). There is just too much silliness going on at once and it just comes off as some ADHD kid's fanfic. Hartman had probably lost his sanity some point shortly after post-cancellation. Between that and what >>102611209
mentioned the series is just too full of nonsense to enjoy anymore, it entirely lost its human element for the sake of jokes that aren't funny.
