Guy you're replying to isn't me, the guy planning on doing the channel. He's correct about robobuddies tho.
Anyway, here's the basic gestalt of what I'd like to do. On the animation front:>experimental short form content>an ongoing series that's framed as fictional characters running social media, filmed like 70s paranoid cinemaphile stuff with a hodgepodge of several artstyles and mix in full length stuff with shorter vignettes, likely the biggest focus as far as animation is concerned. Content would be something akin to network, mad men, glengarry glen ross, marketing/business/geopolitics conspiracy stuff, crossed over with the absurdity of something like 31 minutos>previous connections to make music videos>upload host to collaborative projects
on the review side>a multi video series analyzing baseduzmultifilm's filmography and history as a studio>an analysis on the art of Osamu Sato>a quick catchup on the independent north american animation scene that adult swim taps into>halloween month reviews of assorted horror animation, the real hardore stuff>frequent curation recommendation videos of old and new music videos and noteworthy advertisement animations>a rundown of the history of french animation and BD comics>reviews of the old bakshi filmography and other classic adult animated films going in depth into not just the movies, but the history of their production and where the studios are now, like nelvana and rock and rule, bill plympton's studio, some of the more far out stuff like the tragedy of man, etc>spotlight videos on interesting animation pitch and film festival stuff whenever those roll around, and advice on where to find funding from investors outside of studio employment, where to market stuff, etc
Basically I want to highlight all the stuff about animation that's already adult, subtle, nuanced, and creative instead of yelling at kid cartoons.
