They started focusing more on the kids and Tina's relatableness, not to say that the kids weren't part of the focus in the first few seasons, but they balanced with the adult plots. And part of this the show's humor became more soft and inoffensive, watched the first season a few days ago and there were some conversations that wouldn't even be in an episode from this season
>Bob: "What's the child molester?"
>Louise: "It's the burger of the day..."
>B: "No it's not"
>L: "...For a limited time only, until you came back upstairs..."
>B: "Did somebody actually order this?"
>Gene: "Yeah, him"
>B: "Hmm...he looks like a child molester, Louise don't serve him, let Gene do it"
>G: "Why do I have to get molested?"
>B: "Because he's not going to molest you"
>B: "Because you're heavy"
>G: "Heavy kids can get molested"
>L: "Yeah, it's more cushion for the pushin'"
Closest thing I could really think of was from last year's Halloween special with Bob telling Teddy that he doesn't need his penis held up, but for some reason that scene felt kind of awkward and forced. I don't hate the new episodes I still enjoy them and watch them every Sunday, there's just something off compared to the first seasons. Guess it's kind of expected when a show runs for this long, kind of surprised that it even made it to 7 years on air
