How many of us can agree that bubbleline is a shit ship not because it's a gay relationship, but because they have no common interests, tastes, or complementary personalities?
I want to like it, I really do, because I do think it would be cool to see a healthy lesbian relationship in a cartoon, but how the fuck does bubbleline even work?
Hell, in Ketchup, they even show in Marcy's story how different they are and how PB would rather sit and read than do stuff with Marcy.
Do people still buy into the "opposites attract" bullshit? Are the writers cool with Marcy giving up most of what she enjoys to do things she finds boring with PB?
Does everyone on the writing staff think that people who live a more fast paced life all secretly want a complacent boring domestic existence? If so, are they so far up their own asses they can see what they ate for dinner?
