>>99404037>All these months, I've seen so many anons board the Samurai Jack hate train>Implying I wasn't aboard it by episode 5 of the new season
Ashi pretty much ruined the entire season 5 for me, she was just so fucking forced in.
Episodes one through three were amazing, the same kind of quality from the original show with wacky bounty hunters, amazing style and a darker stuff with the Aku cult.
Jack was fucking back.
Then episode 4 comes along and it's all fucking downhill from there with Ashi doing a complete 180 on everything she was taught to believe in like a day, awkward Jack romance after damn 50 years despite the OG doing something better despite it all being Aku trolling the shit outta Jack
Somehow that Episode's romance felt less rushed than Ashi and Jack.
Too little Aku
An entire episode starring Ashi and the most blatant in your face service to the fans I've seen
And the fights, fucking hell the fights became so retarded after episode 3.
Honestly, by the end Ashi had hijacked the damn thing so much I could only laugh at the "final battle" "Ashi you have Aku's powers!" "I do!" moment
Then that fucking "twist" could be seen from Alpha Centauri for anyone with even two brain cells to rub together.
The entire ending was fucking garbage.
Point is, Ashi was a mistake, most of the show's problems stem from her getting shoved into our faces, and I believe that if Genndy wasn't such a fucking retard that thought forcing a romance plot into a story heavy 10 episode season was a good idea it wouldn't have been so bad.
