>>3392864I think Hanazawa and Hikawa's routes are worth playing, mostly because they add some lore and characterization here and there, but the overall stories are not particularly compelling imo. It feels like the writer was finished once she got to Kawase and the rest was just filling the gaps. You can also see it because they are waaaaay shorter.
The last route is really ugly personally and just bullshit which almost ruined the story, but it's hard to discuss it without spoiler. Makes it hard to recommend the product to people though even if you can ignore it. Which it's a shame because before that, I felt like something I could have shared with my friends who weren't against BL stuff but not fond of the worst things usually featured in VNs.
>I must say it made indescribably happy to be able to buy a bl visual novel on Steam. Hopefully this means we'll eventually get even more.Sadly I don't think it sold well enough, it seems like the Yaoi VN userbase is too niche and won't move past stuff like DMM or TnC or it's too into stuff like CB or similar. What I enjoyed about Hashihime was that the true route put the story first and foremost, it felt like playing an actual VN which featured a love story between two guys with a good mystery at the core rather than a eroge with a story (Like NTY).
Minakami was my favorite boy, I absolutely adored his love story with Tamamori and the way it comes together. Kawase is more compelling to me personality wise, but not in a "I want him to Tamamori" kind of way because the story felt written for Minakami first and foremost (Who's considered the true route). His route would be fantastic for a fandisk though, ton of untapped potential.
