He is more often insufferable than he is adorable, he has horrifying hygiene, he is a legit bad person, and I revel in his misery. Every time I look back, I wonder what I saw in him to begin with.
He's got this pure, earnest, child-like enthusiasm and conviction for vengeance that's got some vague kawaii appeal, he's entertaining to watch when he's on his rages, and he's a pretty broken person in a way that arouses my pity. Every now and then, his facade of pure rage cracks, and you see how ultimately, he's just this sad, vulnerable person.
I guess it's the same for Chris. Je suis Chris.
All in all, Dan has the same appeal as a mangy bastard cat, I guess.
