>>2494518It's not about getting killed, it's about people forgetting their roots slowly and they are becoming too individualistic, forgetting about their communities altogether.
>>2494530>What does it feel to know that you would have been either killed or locked away in a concentration camp if you were alive in Germany back then?If it's for greater good, then so be it. but thats not the case here as i know third reich had serious flaws.
but my point is having a progress without keeping or reforming the culture into it can cause serious problems and vice versa.
if you abolish the traditions in the name of the progress rather than reforming it, extremism will grow and some elements would be seen as extremist even though they aren't and these could create problems with society as we see today.
I'm not saying society should stay as it is, that's impossible as sooner or later progress would be achieved,
however ignoring progress and sticking the traditions (or seem to do that in order to create illusion and fill the pockets) like thick headed person would also create corruption and unrest.
tl;dr: matter of balance is very important.
Oh and i prefer the Imperial days more since Weimar republic almost completely destroyed the German traditions
NSDAP then took the power and restored some of it, but mostly they twisted the rest for their gains.
