I give to charities pretty regularly and was wondering if any of the elite /vip/pers are like me. Do you give to charities? How often?

I used to donate, mostly to Wikipedia, Adblock Plus, and some private servers I played on. Not so much now; I use uBlock Origin (Refuses donations), Wikipedia doesn't necessarily need donations despite their frequent pleas, and all the good private servers I played on shut down.

It doesn't have to be tech sites. For example I donate to MAPS which is using psychedelics to treat patients with PTSD. Because of MAPS they are now in phase three clinical trials for the use of MDMA assisted therapy sessions. They send updates on how they are helping people which is really worth the money. Last one I read was a woman with her husband and new born daughter were helping someone out in a car crash on the interstate when a car squashed the husband like a bug and he died in her arms. She had severe trauma and was suicidal but is now able to get a grasp on her life thanks to this therapy. That's the reason I give. To think my money saved someone from a heart breaking life with suicide at the end and an orphaned daughter with no where to go.
