Cross Sections

What's a good program for drawing out cross sections?
considering I already know the answers from the fact its piss easy with each one being

y(x, 0) = (1/2) (f(x - 0) + f(x + 0)) = f(x)
y(x, ?/2) = (1/2) (f(x - ?/2) + f(x + ?/2))
y(x, ?) = (1/2) (f(x - ?) + f(x + ?))
y(0, t) = (1/2) (f(-t) + f(t)) (0 because f(x) is anti symmetrical which means the equation = 0
y(?, t) = (1/2) (f(?-t) + f(?+t))

what would be useful and what would it look like?
