To me it seems there is truly a tiny amount of STEM careers that don't seem to constitute being the bitch boy of some company doing menial computer tasks, or joining the circle jerk of academia/research
currently third year student math/cs and im becoming more depressed the closer i get to the reality of working in these fields.

medicine seems to be the only job where you're actively making an impact on anything in the world, and the trade off is every other aspect of your life
