So we know that naturally over time particles pop into and out of existence, popping in matter and antimatter particles and annihilating shortly after leaving no trace. The source of Hawking Radiation and whatnot.

With that in mind, how possible could it be that someone could build a machine that "catches" the particles as they come into being, stopping the matter and antimatter from colliding and organizing it into a particular arrangement of particles (perhaps into something useful) and sending the antimatter into a battery of sorts where it annihilates with the matter of waste to become energy once more. Perhaps to feed back into the machine and devise more material.
