Regarding enzymes and how they act as catalysts. Would it be correct to say that enzymes don't actually lower the activation energy for a given reaction, but instead makes it so less energi is needed from the enviroment due to the energi that is released when a substrate-enzym forms is used to help break up bonds in the substrate?
