What do you love about it? If you want to work in STEM (super broad space of jobs still) then it's a totally different thing to just wanting to know more shit.

If it's just a general interest, don't get the damned textbooks, just continue to read your facebook-science memes, only instead of just reposting them like a trash-tier single-aunt read into the background of them (hint: Google). Also there are like a bajillion pop-sci books that we all buy for our uncles every Christmas. Read those.
