>>10814305> How many sports teams/social groups are you in? Have you been on any socials?I go to some societies but I don't really hang out with the people from there outside of them.
> I guess, gets much better in part A and part B when you choose subjects.Let's hope so. I quite want it to be difficult.
> Why do you want it to be competitive? In my course we helped each other.Imho competitive does not rule out helping each other out. My main experience is from science olympiads in high school and, at least in my country, the people there are friends and help each other with stuff and so on, but when it comes time for the competition you want to win (not by sabotaging/not helping others but by just being really good at maths/cs/whatever). I expected Oxford to have a similar atmosphere, but most of the people are the "as long as we all passed" type that don't want to share scores on exams and so on.
> Which college you at?Catz.
> You'll meet more people in Part A n B when you start having tutorials in other colleges.I already know some of the people from the colleges where I'll have my tutorials next year. Some of them are fine for generic hanging out at the department and stuff, but non of them really strike me as friend material for having fun or depending on them. Idk might just be my fault.
> You living in or out in second year?I am living in college next year as well.
> Is The Bridge still a club? Does Wadham still do Queer Bop?Not a fan of night clubs, but yeah Bridge is still a popular club. Idk about Queer Bop.
