AI doing research

>be me
>be scientist
>work in literally any field
>pissed because not enough smart / good people to do labor and experiments
Suddenly AI becomes a thing
>use massive computing power to run arbitrary simulation
>make AI bot to collect data and make it useful / readable for humans
>copy and past x1000 or ad Infinitum
>research speed is now based solely on granularity of simulation and how quickly scientist turns data into useful product

>suddenly, say biotech, research that used to take thousands of biomed scientists can be done by 10 or less paired with a few AI researchers

Explain why this is not possible. AI and massive computing should exponentially accelerate research if used correctly. Prove me wrong /sci/
