A lot more consideration is put towards electrodynamics than basic circuit analysis. Basically, general physics is the babyshit engineering students have to pass, so they don’t make it too hard (especially on the math; engineering majors make noise when something isn’t on a magic equation sheet since they tend to measure the difficulty of a problem by the tedium of its calculations). Junior/Senior E&M, while not definitive, is a deeper look into the material that reveals a lot more to be studied. For full disclosure, I don’t hate engineering majors, but somehow basic physics brings out the brainlet in them.
