No real experience coding. I have a degree in economics, so I have moderate math skills.
What would be the best way to start to learning?

How are ML and ufology even related? I don't get it.

Also a lot of econometric methods are borderline considered part of ML.

If you're somewhat math savvy, a good place to start would be "The Elements of Statistical Learning" by Hastie et al. A thorough introduction to the subject with lots of examples and good explanations
