>>10496347The pharma (((juice))) banned OTC lidocaine a while back because pulmonary lidocaine drip was a superb alternative to some pricey pharmaceutical. Now all I can get is lidocaine ointment and lube but not sterile lidocaine solution in ampules. Anyway extracting it is easy, sterilizing (e.g. 0,2um filtration) is also doable at home.
So lets recap. OP you need 70% ethanol, lidocaine, forceps (pic related), sterile tissues. Inject a bit of lidocaine in the connective tissue about 1 cm below the toenail. Wait 10 min. Insert one end of forceps under toenail, fixate with other end. Pull firmly, if the nail is sick it will slip off easily (there might be a bit of fibrous material at the nail bed, don't panic). Immediately apply sterile tissue, compress to limit bleeding. Keep your foot above your lower torso for a few hours. Take some medium strength painkillers (paracetamol+codein phosphate). It should be fine in a couple of weeks and in a couple of months it will be like new.
