How come smart people still believe in life's illusions? People much smarter than me for example can't see that human society is run on spooks like morality and made up shit like religion. Why are smart people still religious? Note: I'm not talking about the existence of god I'm just talking about the religions of Earth which are clearly made up

You would think the social conditioning would be easy to see through and break for a smart person but apparently not, I don't get it.

Not trying to brag or claim I'm enlightened or some shit but I feel like I'm closer to knowing what life actually is than most intelligent people who are blinded the same as dumb or average people by social conditioning. But then again I've been suffering from depersonalization disorder for years and maybe without that reality is way more convincing. I don't remember what it was like.
