I've been working real hard on it, and I think it's one of my more successful pieces of vector work. I'm giving it to Tamika's mom for her birthday, because she loves African artwork.
I noticed as I was finishing it up, her posture is very Mona Lisa-esque.
Not on purpose, I assure you.
So, I Googled Madame Mona.
And I don't like her posture very much, now that I think about it.
She kinda has the "fat cat", like she's not interested in you at all. It's just the mysteriousness of her smile, that's all.
Oh, and by the way, I think old man Leo posed for himself for that painting. I think that's why it's so good. Honestly, my best portraits are the ones I do of myself, because I can sit there and adjust my face until I like it, and I think Leonardo Da Vinci did the same thing.
